Four BUSnet schemes are in place within Hertfordshire: Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Watford and Welwyn & Hatfield
A BUSnet ticket offers unlimited travel throughout the respective zone. A BUSnet ticket can be bought for periods of one day, one week, four weeks and 10 1-day bundles. Discounted prices are available to holders of Hertfordshire SaverCards.
Our new Intalink app is now available and fares reduced!
The new Intalink mobile ticketing app is launched and with it the following options are now available:
- BUSnet tickets valid for a period of four weeks providing a saving over the cost of four separate weekly tickets
- Bundles of 10 one-day tickets - can be used on any ten individual days within one year of purchase providing more flexibility
In addition, using funding provided by the Department for Transport through our Bus Service Improvement Plan we have been able to reduce the fares for BUSnet tickets by 15% compared to the prices charged previously. Furthermore for Young Person's SaverCard holders the discount is increased to 50% off the new basic fare. The Adult SaverCard provides a 15% discount and the Senior SaverCard gives 50% discount off the new basic fare. A 50% discount is also available to all children aged 5 to 10, and children aged 11 to 15 but not in possession of a SaverCard can obtain a 30% discount.
Day, weekly, four-weekly and 10 one-day ticket bundles are purchased through the Intalink mobile ticketing app in advance of travel and are then activated through the app when required. Day tickets can still be bought on the first bus boarded but weekly tickets are no longer available to buy on-bus.
Further information on the validity of our BUSnet tickets can be viewed on the Intalink Tickets Terms and Conditions page.
