Affordable bus travel is at the heart of what the Intalink Enhanced Partnership is striving to achieve. To ensure residents can continue to enjoy best value travel using bus services in Hertfordshire, we wanted to share some of the ticketing initiatives that you can take advantage of so that you can keep using the bus, without being impacted by the change in the fare cap from £2 to £3.

Experience unlimited bus travel in Hertfordshire with Intalink Connect. Intalink Connect ticketing provides a low-cost alternative option to the standard bus ticket as it can prove cheaper than buying two single tickets at £3 each. Hertfordshire has been divided into 14 separate travel zones, and there are options for one-zone, two adjacent zones, and all-zones tickets. You can buy tickets as one day, one day for a group of up to four people (All Zones ticket only), one week, four week, and 10 one-day ticket bundles.

For a one day, one person Intalink Connect ticket, you can travel in one zone for £5, or two zones for £6– working out at equal, or even less than the new £3 fare cap if you are making a return journey. But, with Intalink Connect, you can have unlimited travel for that price, allowing you to journey wherever you need to in the zone(s). Intalink Connect gives you the opportunity to make big savings on your bus travel and explore what the county has to offer.

Intalink Connect tickets can also be made even cheaper with the Hertfordshire SaverCard. SaverCards are available for all ages, with different offers and discounts depending on the version of the SaverCard you have. All types of SaverCard have a 50% discount on Intalink Connect tickets, making all Intalink Connect one day tickets cheaper at £2.50 than purchasing single tickets with the £3 fare cap. For one person, you can have unlimited travel across All Zones in Hertfordshire for just £4.30 with the Hertfordshire SaverCard, giving you the opportunity to go all the way from Watford to Royston, or from Tring to Cheshunt for one low-cost fare.
