Older and Disabled Persons Bus Pass

The English National Concessionary Travel Scheme allows free off-peak travel across England on local bus services for older and disabled people. This scheme is administered by Hertfordshire County Council.

To apply, you can either apply online or collect an application booklet from your local library, district / borough council office, tourist information office, or One Stop Shop. For more information, visit www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/buspass for more information relating to the scheme.

If you have a learning disability, a physical disability or hearing/sight loss an Orange Travel Wallet can help you when you travel by bus. The Orange Travel Wallet will let bus drivers know what help you need. It is bright orange and has plastic pockets inside - you can use it to keep everything together that helps you to use the bus on your own.
