Service Changes April 2022

1/1A High Wycombe to Hemel Hempstead
Carousel
Reduced service on Saturdays between Chesham and High Wycombe.

2/3 Stevenage Bus Station to St Nicholas (Circular)
Arriva
Service increased to every 15 minutes on both services.
From 17.04.22

3/4 Hemel Hempstead to Grovehill/Chaulden (Circular)
Arriva
Service revised to operate hourly, providing a combined half hourly service between Grovehill and Hemel Hempstead town centre.

4/40 Stevenage Bus Station to Boradwater (Circular)
Arriva
Service 4 increased to operate every 15 minutes.

5/50 Stevenage Bus Station to Broadwater (Circular)

Service 5 increased to operate every 15 minutes.

8 Woodside to Northwood
Arriva
Service revised to operate every 30 minutes between Watford and Mount Vernon Hospital. The section of route between Abbots Langley and Watford will no longer be served, but it will be covered by the services 9 and 10. Please see the note for services 9 and 10 for details.

9 Watford Town to Leavesden Park

New service to partially cover the withdrawn journeys for the service 8. This service will operate hourly on Mondays to Saturdays.

10 Woodside to Holywell Estate/Abbots Langley/South Way (Circular)
Arriva
Service revised as part of Arriva's service changes in Watford and Hemel Hempstead. Service will be extended to Abbots Langley and South Way to partially cover the withdrawn journeys for the service 8. Aerodrome Way will no longer be served (please see the note for service 20). Timings adjusted to operate every 30 minutes Mondays to Saturdays and hourly on Sundays and Public Holidays.

13 Waltham Cross to Epping

Revised timetable on all days including early morning and early evening links to/from North Weald.

14/14B/14C Waltham Cross to Waltham Abbey
Vectare
Increased frequency on weekdays for service 14. Saturday service on service 14 withdrawn. Services 14B and 14C withdrawn.

20 Woodside to Hemel Hempstead 
Arriva
New service operating via Holywell – Watford – Woodside – Leverstock Green – Maylands – Adeyfield – Hemel Hempstead to cover changes to routes 320 and 10. Aerodrome Way will be served in peak hours only. Service to operate every 30 minutes Mondays to Saturdays and hourly on Sundays and Public Holidays, giving a combined 15 minute service from Holywell into Watford town centre with service 10 on Mondays to Saturdays (every 30 minutes on Sundays/Public Holidays).

22 Waltham Cross to Waltham Abbey

Revised weekday timetable operating at peak times only, Saturdays service enhanced to operate hourly throughout the daytime.

22A Waltham Cross to Waltham Abbey
Vectare
New service as an addition to the existing services 22 and 22C. Service to operate twice a day Mondays to Fridays.

84 Potters Bar to St Albans
Sullivan Buses
New operator replacing Metroline. Timings adjusted to operate up to every 30 minutes between St Albans and Potters Bar on Mondays to Saturdays and hourly on Sundays and Public Holidays. Service between Potters Bar and Barnet withdrawn.

100/101 Stevenage to Luton

Revised timetable with buses now running three times an hour during off-peak times.

292 Borehamwood to Colindale
Metroline (TfL)
Temporary timetable change due to roadworks on A41. This change does not affect timetable times within Hertfordshire.

Service withdrawn.

302 Hemel Hempstead to Welwyn Garden City

Morning Saturdays service revised to improve reliability.

320 Hemel Hempstead to Rickmansworth/Berry Lane Estate
Arriva
Service withdrawn. To be replaced as part of Arriva’s forthcoming service changes in Watford and Hemel Hempstead by New service 20 and service 321.

321 Luton to Maple Cross
Arriva
Route extended south of Watford to Rickmansworth and Maple Cross to replace services 320 and 520. Generally three buses an hour Luton to Watford with Berry Lane Estate, Rickmansworth being served twice an hour and Maple Cross once an hour.

500 Aylesbury to Watford
Arriva
Revised timetable with services running every 30 minutes during the day. New hourly Sunday and Public Holiday timetable introduced to run hourly between Watford and Hemel Hempstead.
