Intalink Connect - Restrictions
Intalink Connect tickets can be used on most bus services that run within or into Hertfordshire. However Intalink Connect tickets are not valid on the following types of services:
- Services provided primarily for school children and students.
- All London local services operated under contract to TfL
- Services operating to or via Central London
- HertsLynx and any other demand responsive services that require pre booking.
- Night bus services.
- Rail replacement services.
- Services on which the majority of seats can be reserved in advance of travel.
- Services that are intended to run for a period of less than six consecutive weeks.
- Services operated entirely for the purposes of tourism or because of the historical interest of the vehicle.
- Services where the fare charged has a special amenity element eg. the fare includes the entrance fee for a local attraction or event.
The following bus services also have restrictions on the acceptance of Intalink Connect tickets:
- Arriva service 724 – only valid between Maple Cross and Harlow
- Arriva service 725 – only valid between Maple Cross and Stevenage
- A2B Travel service 26 – only valid between Royston and Melbourn
- A2B Travel service 31 – not valid Barley to Cambridge (ie. whole route)
- Carousel service 1 – valid only between Hemel Hempstead and Chesham Broadway
- Grant Palmer service 74 - not valid between Hitchin and Bedford (ie. whole route)
- Red Rose Travel service 167 – not valid between Ivinghoe and Leighton Buzzard (ie. whole route)
- Sullivan Buses 951 - only valid between Watford and Denham
The bus timetables shown on this website indicate whether or not Intalink Connect tickets are accepted on the service, and whether any restrictions apply.
