HertsLynx North & East Herts

HertsLynx first launched in North & East Herts in September 2021. The service provides transport to residents in our designated operating zone, as well as providing transport links to fixed destinations in Key Hub Towns: Stevenage, Letchworth, Hitchin, Baldock, Royston and Bishop’s Stortford; due to popular demand, the East and North service has now expanded to include Hertford and Ware too.

The HertsLynx service provides travel between over 300 “virtual bus stops” within our operating area in North & East Herts. We currently service the following villages:

Passengers can travel between any of the virtual bus stops as frequently as they would like or also use the service to travel to a small number of destinations in the following towns:

• Stevenage
• Hitchin
• Letchworth
• Baldock
• Royston
• Bishop’s Stortford
• Hertford
• Ware

Passengers are not able to book a journey from two “virtual bus stops” within the same town listed above. For example, it is not possible to travel from Stevenage – Stevenage or Royston – Royston. However, travelling between Stevenage and Royston, or vice-versa, would be possible.

The map at the bottom of the page shows all of our currently active HertsLynx virtual bus stops. The towns listed above are shown with purple pins, the unlimited pick up points are shown with green pins.
