Safer Travel - Covid 19
From 27th January face coverings are no longer required by law in England when travelling on Public Transport but the government suggests wearing face coverings in crowded and enclosed spaces where you may come into contact with other people you do not know.
Please note passengers traveling on TfL services operating in Hertfordshire must wear a face covering when travelling (unless exempt).
A face mask should cover your nose and mouth. A face covering is not the same as the surgical masks or respirators used by healthcare and other workers as part of personal protective equipment (PPE). These should continue to be reserved for those who need them to protect against risks in their workplace, such as health and care workers, and those in industrial settings, like those exposed to dust hazards.
