Community Shelters Project - Tring Church Square Stop B

For this location, we worked with Tring Town Council, Tring Art Group, Externiture and Broxap Street Furniture.

The beautiful wooden bus shelter was repainted by Tring Town Council giving it a fresh new look they also changed out the back polycarbonate panels for wooden giving a uniform look.

Several poster cases were installed inside the bus shelter and are now displaying a number of beautiful pieces of art by members of Tring Art Group. New benches have been installed leaving two gaps on either end ensuring space for accessibility. A custom built wooden 'Book Swap Box' has been installed and is welcome to be used by anyone.

The artwork inside the shelter is proudly displayed by members of the Tring Art Group, including Chamindika Ariyaratne, Graham Hoad, Jan Spencer, Leanne Coelho, Leila Ward, Mary Casserley, Paula Davies, Peter Nareike, Petra Mohr and Sally Ann French.

We hope this project has created a beautiful space that can be enjoyed by the bus users as well the local community, we hope you enjoy this space regardless of if you use the bus or not.

Below shows before and after images and the different stages of the project.
