Free Bus Travel for Children this August!

This August, bus routes throughout Hertfordshire will be free for children aged 5-15, supported by the UK Government’s decision to make bus travel free this August, helping families make the most of days out this summer as part of their Great British Summer Savings.
From 1st –31st August inclusive, the Government is funding free bus travel for children on eligible bus routes in England. This includes:
Carousel
- 1, 1B High Wycombe to Hemel Hempstead
Centrebus
- All routes in Hertfordshire
Stagecoach
- 9, 9A, 9B, 9D Stevenage to Bedford
- SB12 Stevenage, Bus Station to Chells
This list is being updated regularly with the participating routes.
