HertsLynx is Expanding to Kings Langley, Chipperfield and Bovingdon

HertsLynx, Hertfordshire’s on-demand transport service is expanding to Kings Langley, Chipperfield and Bovingdon, bringing flexible and accessible public transport to thousands more residents across southwest Hertfordshire. 

From the 7th of  September 2026, the expansion will allow passengers to book journeys through the HertsLynx app or by telephone, providing convenient and connecting residents with key local destinations, including town centres, rail stations, healthcare facilities, education providers and employment areas, helping to improve accessibility while offering a practical alternative to private car use. 

The introduction of HertsLynx to these communities strengthens the county's commitment to delivering modern, sustainable transport solutions. Residents who currently have limited public transport options will benefit from greater flexibility and improved connectivity, making it easier to access essential services and opportunities.
