Free Shuttle Bus to Hertfordshire County Show

Heading to the Hertfordshire County Show? Getting there is easier than ever! This year, a complimentary bus service will run between Albans City Railway Station (Stop A) and the Hertfordshire County Showground (Gate E) on Saturday, Sunday during the Show weekend.

This service is provided in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council, Arriva and the Hertfordshire Agricultural Society. 

Cllr Paul Zukowskyj, Executive Member for Environment, Transport and Growth at Hertfordshire County Council said:

“We are delighted to support the free shuttle service for this year’s Hertfordshire County Show, operating between St Albans City Railway Station and the showground on 23 and 24 May 2026. This will make it easier for people to get to the event.

"By encouraging travel by rail and bus, we are supporting a greener way to attend a much-loved county event that brings benefits to the wider community. Accessible, sustainable travel helps improve air quality, protect our environment, enhance quality of life for our residents, and ensure events like this can be enjoyed by as many visitors as possible - now and in the future.”

This free shuttle service will be available at the following times: 

 Outbound to the Showground:  09:45 • 10:45 • 11:45 • 12:45

 Return to St Albans Station:  14:00 • 15:00 • 16:00 • 17:05 • 18:10
