HertsLynx Adds Two New Vehicles to Fleet

As a response to the continuing increased demand for the HertsLynx service, two brand-new vehicles will shortly be added to the service fleet, which will improve journey availability for passengers.
As a notice to passengers, we want to note that the new vehicles are smaller minibuses. This means that the buses will look slightly different than passengers are used to, and, importantly, will have no step-free access.
Passengers that require step-free access must let the HertsLynx team know before making a booking to ensure that the booking is assigned to a vehicle that accommodates this. This only needs to be done once and can be done using one of the following methods.
HertsLynx Support Phone
For passengers that use the support line to make their bookings, simply call our team on 01992 555 513 and provide the name on your account. Then let the customer service operator know that you require step free access, they will update your account for you.
HertsLynx App and Booking Website
Once you have logged into either the HertsLynx app or booking website, scroll down until you find the ‘Passenger(s)’ section. Tap the logo to the right of your name, this will bring up a menu with several options. Tap ‘Type of seat’ and choose the relevant option, then tap confirm. Repeat this for any other passengers you have added to your account or booking. This information is now saved and will not need to be repeated.
Please note, not providing this information may lead to a bus without step-free access being assigned to your booking, which may mean you aren’t able to access the bus, which will mean your booking can’t go ahead.
