HertsLynx celebrated as Runner Up at Step2Skills Adult Achievement Awards

HertsLynx, Hertfordshire’s Demand Responsive Transport that has transformed rural mobility, has been recognised as a runner up for the ‘Employer of the Year’ category at the 2025 Step2Skills Adult Achievement Awards. 

Through it’s partnership with SPS Training and JobCentre in Stevenage, HertsLynx collaborated to recruit drivers by helping shape a tailored training course. This initiative fast-tracked applicants into interviews, and resulted in two successful training cohorts and multiple job offers. 

The Step2Skills annual awards event, which has been running since 2016, honours the exceptional achievements of people who have undertaken learning or received employment support during the last year, and provide an opportunity to showcase best practice and innovations in community learning and employment support.

The award was presented by Adrian Hawkins OBE, Chair of Hertfordshire Futures and the Stevenage Development Board.
