Intalink Card Terms & Conditions
General
- Intalink Cards are issued by Hertfordshire County Council on behalf of the Intalink Enhanced Partnership.
- You can apply for an Intalink Card if you do not have a Hertfordshire SaverCard and wish to load Intalink tickets onto a card and/or use the MentPay transit purse.
- Only Intalink tickets for adults and children (age 5 to 15) without a Hertfordshire SaverCard can be loaded onto an Intalink Card.
- Intalink Cards can be ordered through the Intalink website. You can either use your existing Intalink account or create a new one. The Intalink account can also be used with the Intalink app.
- Your first Intalink Card is issued free when you either buy Intalink tickets or add a MentPay balance to it at the same time.
- The Intalink Card will normally be delivered within seven days of the order date, but this may be longer during busy periods. If you have not received your Intalink Card 15 days after ordering it then please contact the Intalink Ticket team.
- When it arrives the Intalink Card will have the Intalink ticket(s) and/or MentPay balance already loaded onto it.
- You can continue to use your Intalink Card by adding more Intalink tickets and/or a top up to your MentPay balance.
- You can order new Intalink tickets to add to your Intalink Card through your Intalink account. If you buy your Intalink tickets before 5pm they will be available for collection on bus the next day. Tickets bought after 5pm will be available for collection in 36 hours.
- If you have added a MentPay balance to your Intalink Card you will need to link the MentPay registration number to a MentPay account. Then you will be able to check your balance, view your transactions, top up your account and update your details and preferences. You can create a new MentPay account or login to an existing one at www.mentpay.co.uk .
- The Intalink Card remains the property of Hertfordshire County Council and must be surrendered on demand.
- Hertfordshire County Council may at its sole discretion withdraw the Intalink Card if it believes that it has been intentionally misused, damaged, defaced, altered or tampered with in any way. In such circumstances, you will not be entitled to a refund of any remaining Intalink tickets or MentPay balance.
- This page will be updated as and when these terms and conditions may change.
Travel
- The Intalink Card must be with you at the time of travel so that it can be presented to the card reader for ticket collection/validation or taking payment. If it not available then you will need to pay for the journey regardless of any ticket validity or available credit on the Intalink Card.
- When requested, you must show the Intalink Card to a bus company official, ticket inspector or other authorised officer and allow it to be read by any electronic reading device.
