New ways to purchase and pay for your bus tickets
1 month ago
Intalink Connect bus tickets have been available purchase via the Intalink app since they were launched in July.
We are now introducing another way of purchasing and using Intalink Connect tickets where they can be loaded onto either a Hertfordshire SaverCard or Intalink Card. Tickets are purchased through the Intalink website by going to the Purchase tickets page. Purchased tickets are then collected on any bus service operating in Hertfordshire that accepts them for travel and loaded onto the card.
When purchasing tickets, if you don’t already have a Hertfordshire SaverCard or an Intalink Card then we’ll issue you with a new Intalink Card when you create your Intalink account.
The Intalink Card will also come with a sQuid transit purse which you can load with money and use to pay for travel on bus services operated by participating Hertfordshire bus operators. The sQuid transit purse provides an alternative to cash for those who either do not have, or wish to use, a mobile phone or bank card when buying tickets. It therefore enables for example parents to provide a cashless payment method for children to pay for their travel.
You then just need to present your Hertfordshire SaverCard or Intalink Card to the card reader when boarding your bus to collect, activate and use your ticket.
