Community Shelters
Community Shelters
The Community Shelters project is a part of the wider Bus Services Improvement Plan. Through working with local communities, schools, colleges and businesses, the project aims to improve each shelter and the space around it, making it more aesthetically pleasing and more engaging. The project will also bring awareness to the bus network through highlighting shelters within their environment.
There are a number of locations which have already been completed, work has been undertaken at shelters in Cheshunt, Great Amwell, Kimpton, Little Hadham, Royston, St Albans. Stevenage Tring and Ware with further sites in development.
