Industrial strike action planned on Metroline Services has been suspended

UPDATE (30/11/2022)

The industrial action scheduled for this week (1st, 2nd, 3rd December) across Metroline services has been suspended. Services will operate as normal. 

Three days of strike action scheduled for this week have been called off after last minute talks produced an improved pay offer.

If the Metroline workers reject the latest offer then the remaining strikes scheduled for 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th December will go ahead as planned.

Further strike action across Metroline services is planned for the following dates:

  • Thursday 8th and Friday 9th December

  • Thursday 15th and Friday 16th December

During the above dates, please check ahead before you travel and leave more time to complete your journey. 

All other services in Hertfordshire will be running as normal but are expected to be busier in areas where affected Metroline services operate. Please note this industrial action will also affect TfL services operated by Metroline, details of these services can be found on TfLs website.

The following Hertfordshire services NOT be operating during the strike action:

242 Waltham Cross to Potters Bar

305 Sandridge to Potters Bar

PB1 Potters Bar to Rushford
